SLOWKEPT

Privacy

What SLOWKEPT keeps, and what it does not.

SLOWKEPT is built around a clear boundary: the full letter text stays off the platform. The product can keep codes, access records, and timeline markers without storing the letter itself.

Not kept

The letter itself is not part of the database.

SLOWKEPT does not need the finished letter to provide the letter path, private code, timeline, or future archive structure.

SLOWKEPT does not keep

  • The full text of the letter
  • Drafts written inside the physical or printable letter
  • Scans or photos of the finished letter
  • Relationship graphs or public profiles
  • Read receipts, seen states, or open-status signals

May be kept

What the platform may store.

These records allow SLOWKEPT to manage purchases, access, codes, and timelines while keeping the full letter text outside the system.

Account information

For the sender side, an account may be used to keep access to purchases, codes, and private timelines.

Order and entitlement records

Purchases, kit access, code credits, and timeline permissions are stored separately from payment processing.

Private Thread Codes

A code connects two people to one private letter timeline. The code does not contain the full letter.

Timeline markers

A timeline may keep dates, statuses, short notes, and whether a moment came from A or B.

Recipient status updates

The recipient may add a simple update, such as received, needs time, or reply sent.

Support requests

Support may keep the information needed to help with account, purchase, download, or code issues.

Product principles

Privacy is part of the product design.

These rules shape what SLOWKEPT can become. They prevent the product from turning into a chat app, a public archive, or a relationship tracking system.

Letter content stays off the platform

SLOWKEPT is designed so the full letter text does not need to be saved online.

Participation is intentional

A timeline only contains moments someone chooses to mark. It is not a background activity log.

The recipient can begin without an account

The recipient can use a Private Thread Code to leave a simple status before deciding whether to claim the thread later.

Private does not mean social

SLOWKEPT does not create public profiles, feeds, followers, or relationship networks.

Support boundary

Support should not ask for the full letter.

If you contact support about an account, purchase, download, code, or timeline issue, do not include the full text of the letter. SLOWKEPT should be able to help without seeing it.
